Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge #16 - 2 x 2

.
Hi

It's so good to be home!!

What a big week it's been! As many of you are aware, Saturday before last my Dad had a major stroke. I brought forward my planned holiday and rushed off to Adelaide to be with my parents. My Dad is still in a pretty bad way and my poor Mum is at the hospital all day every day. I spent the week in Adelaide staying with my Mum and it was really heartbreaking to see my Dad, who is such strong, independent and intensly private man, so helpless.

I did however still manage to enjoy the holiday that my son and I had been planning for so long. (Some of you may remember the original holiday was postponed when my youngest son came down with chicken pox). The hospital in Adelaide is so well located. All the attractions like the Zoo, Museum, river boat cruises, botanical gardens etc are all within walking distance.

I only arrived home this afternoon, so it will take me a few days to settle back in to my routine and get around to visiting all your blogs to say hi.

But I do want to tell you about this weeks Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge.

Now for this week’s challenge – 2 x 2.  We would like to see you use 2 of something, or 2 of everything!  So 2 papers, 2 ribbons, 2 flowers, etc.  Don’t forget the prize is 5 digi stamps from Kenny K of your choice – but to be in the draw you must use a Kenny K image please.

Head on over to the Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge Blog and check out the fabulously tallented Team A's creations that are definitely going to get you all inspired.

Thanks for stopping by

Michelle :-)

I know, Michelle, it was a trying week for you... but thank God that you were there when your mum needed you most. You did your best and let the Lord do the rest.

You and your mum are such brave and positive ladies... I secretly admire you both greatly.

You take care and settle back in...

xxx Monica

Keeping you all, and especially your dad in my thoughts and prayers, Michelle!

Take care of YOU first....we can wait patiently while you get yourself back sorted out after what I'm sure was an emotionally gruelling trip.
