Hi
Here it is 1st September and I am supposed to be in Adelaide visiting my parents who I haven't seen in a couple of years and catching up with my brothers I haven't seen for over 15 years. But sadly all my plans fell apart at the last minute when my youngest son came down with Chicken Pox yesterday!
I never expected it, seeing as how my boys are vaccinated, but there you go hey. Never mind, I'm hoping to get some vouchers from the airline so that I can reschedule my little trip for another time in the near future.
But it's not all doom and gloom.
Being the first of the month means it's time for another challenge over at Paper Cubed (P3) . This month the challenge is to make a bookmark.
Now simple as it is, I really enjoyed making this little book mark.
I found the technique here
It took all of 10 minutes to make and was a great use for scraps.
Flower is actually cut from a roller stamp coloured with Copics and the text is the end bit of an old rub on I have had sitting around for ages.
Hop on over to Paper Cubed (P3) challenge blog and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the design team for some incredible inspiration. You have a month to make yours and get it linked up to be in the running to win this months prize.
Thanks for stopping by.
Michelle

Your bookmark is adorable!
Sorry to hear that your little guy has come down with the chicken pox! They can get so uncomfortable. Hope it's gone soon. Poor little guy.
You really have a nice attitude, Michelle. I hope your son will get well soon.
Love the bookmark!
Adorable book mark Michelle! Love the little ribbon in the corner.
So sorry to hear about the chicken pox hitting your house. I had my kids vacinated too, I didn't know they could still get it! Hopefully since he was vaccinated, your son will only get a mild case. Sending get well hugs!
Great litle gift idea , Michelle . Love the flower and colours chosen . Hugs to boys .
Sorry that you had to postpone your trip, hope your son is ok. Chickenpox can make you feel so miserable, I gave my kids an oatmeal bath for the itchiness and it seemed to help a little. Love your cute bookmark, I was glad this was such an easy challenge this month!
