Make It Monday #97 with Bugaboo Stamps

Hi there!!

Wow, the last two weeks sure went fast! My boys are off to school this morning after two weeks glorious school holidays.

Always tough to get them back in to the swing of it.

Today also brings about a brand new link up over at

You were all on fire over there last week!! 263 awesome entries.

That is just amazing.

Thank you to everyone who joined in.

For my card this week I have used a real cute image from our sponsor

Isn't he just gorgeous?! I kind of think he looks like he is saying

"Cake, what cake? I didn't see any cake." lol, don't you think he looks a lot like the dragon who at the cake (think cat who at the canary)?

I had to tweak this card a little as I wasn't real happy with my first attempt.

I don't know....... I guess I thought it looked a bit boring or plain and the yellow on the dragon was all wrong.

So I toned down the yellow (which was Copics Y11 and Y13) with E50 and E53 which I was really happy with how that worked and then I decided to add some "fun" to the bunting.

Much better I thought :o)

We are very excited to have again our fun sponsors Bugaboo Stamps!  Everyone loves these fun and sweet digis!

Bugaboo Stamps are offering a very generous prize of winner's choice of 7 single digis!

To be in the running to win the prize from our sponsor this week just leave a comment for another entry. Be sure to mention you saw them on Make It Monday. The more entries you comment on the more chances you have of winning!

It was super hard to choose a favourite this week

There were just so many beautiful creations to choose from

So in the end I ended up with two I just couldn't choose between.

The first is from

and the other one was from

Thank you for sharing with us Sarah and Tracy. Your creations are just so inspiring.

The Make It Monday linky party is now open again!!

It is a great way to showcase your most recent creation or even to share your favourite make from ages ago! You don't need to create a whole new post, linking back to the original post is just fine with us.

So come on and join in the fun and share with us your beautiful paper creations!!

There is inspiration to be found and blogging buddies to meet!

So come on, show us what you've made!

Hi Michelle,
Boy oh boy, what a wonderful dragon birthday card! Growing up I always had to get the girly, foo-foo, frilly invitations and my cards were bathed in glitter. Just once I would have loved a card with mud or a dragon as cool as this! I think it's a wonderful boy or tomboy card.
LOL...two again? LOOOVE them. Sometimes I just want to post my POTW with "see MIM main page" because they're all so stinkin' adorable!
Have a great week. I'll end the novel here. ;)

Michelle I'm chuckling - you're as bad as me... well almost - I actually threw a whole card in the bin earlier today. I decided it wasn't turning out the way I wanted. So off came the embellies (which I'd never throw out) but the image and card and papers - away they went.

I know I'm so bad - but I'd stuck them on at angles and they just weren't working for me. Lol..
Usually don't stick anything down until I'm happy - should keep to my own rule... ho hum.

Adore how your second effort turned out (your first one was fine, still cute!)

Love the papers, the colours, everything.

Your POW is amazing - wonderful colouring there too. Smiles.

Hugs,
