Hi
I hope you have all had a wonderful Easter weekend.
I managed to complete this card for Nicola's Sketch Challenge #4 over at Pretty In Ink.
This was Nicola's sketch
This is the first time I have tried stitching on a card. I certainly need a lot more practice.
I used Nicola's image "Kelly With Hotwater Bottle" from Pretty In Ink for this card and coloured her with Lyra Water Colour Crayons. I then added some Glossy Accents to her hair, nightie, hotwater bottle and socks but it doesn't show up all that well in the photo.
I have also submitted this card for the Cupcake Craft Challenge #85 Make your own flowers
Thanks for stopping by.

stitching seems fine . Colouring is good . Cut out image sits well on lovely embossed background. But I really liked the way you have detailed the scallop edge of the strip behind .
I see the glossy accents! GREAT addition! Love the sewing job. I think "imperfect" sewing always looks better on a card than "perfect" sewing. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Hi Michelle! I'm soooo sorry that I haven't been around for ages!
I LOVE your card! Your colouring with your water colour crayons is just beautiful, especially the way that you shaded her hair!
I can see the glossy accents and they look fab!
Your stitching looks great to me! and I also love the scalloped strip with the doodled edges!
Thanks so much for joining in with the challenge!
