Hi , it's a wet soggy Monday here.
Although the sun is out now, it's been a pretty wet 24 hours.
While the southern states of Australia are enduring scorching 40 degree days and devastating bushfires the tropical north of the country is on watch for developing cyclones in the west, north and east.
It was a lovely weekend actually with the rain coming down all day Sunday. The boys were happy playing with their leggo and coming up with great Ninjago episodes of their own (love listening to their imaginitive play) and Hubby was napping on the couch. Makes him sound lazy doesn't it, but he is such a hard worker, both at work and around our one acre property. It was actually quite nice to see him just kicking back and relaxing.
I managed to get a fair amount of time to myself to do some blog housework and to get my card made for today's
linky party.
I wanted to create a card with this image that was suitable for either male or female so I kept the design quite simple.
is now open
We are very excited to have again our fun sponsors Bugaboo Stamps! Everyone loves these fun and sweet digis!
Everything That You Ever Wanted to Know About Bugaboo Stamps: A Short Essay
As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing! From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects. Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!
Bugaboo Stamps are offering a very generous prize of winner's choice of 7 single digis!
Remember, to be in the running to win the prize from our sponsor this week just leave a comment for another entry. Be sure to mention you saw them on Make It Monday. The more entries you comment on the more chances you have of winning!
I played around a bit with the way I coloured this sweet little kitty. I wanted to create the look of fur but I'm not sure I quite got it right. I used quite a few Copic markers to get this effect as well.
Fur - E30, E31, E33, E35, YR20, YR23, YR31, YR61, YR65 and YR68
Ears and nose - R20YR20, E31
Branch - E50, E51, E53, E55, E57, E59, YG93, YG95 and YG97
My fabulous teamies have created a selection of gorgeous cards to get things started.
Please stop by their blogs to say hi and to see who they picked as their favourites this week.
Now, on to my favourite for this week.
As always it is so difficult to choose just one but after taking a while to go back over the entries I kept coming back to this one from
I think I am drawn to the pink, lol. But it is really pretty isn't it. Gorgeous papers and a fun little image (so well coloured too).
Thank you for sharing with us Andrea.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will join us at Make It Monday this week.
I look forward to seeing what you have been creating.
