Make It Monday #87 with Digi My World

Hi!

Are you ready for a brand new week? No.............. well, how about a brand new month???

Seriously, can you believe it, end of April today!

The weather here now in the Far North is just perfect which makes for great times on the weekends getting out and about with the family. The downside is that time spent crafting is drastically reduced, so I found myself running a little late getting my card ready for this week's 

Make It Monday linky party.

I used a sweet image from our sponsor this week called "Happy Birthday"

(not sure why the image is blurry, but if you click on it you will get a clearer picture)

I have coloured her with the following Copics

Hair - Y21, Y23, Y26 and Y28

Skin - E000, E00 and E21

Skirt - R81, R83 and R85

Shirt - Y11 and Y13

Jacket and Shoes - N0, N1 and N3 and clear Spica Pen.

The Digi Papers I have used are from Sherry K Designs and are from the Spring Time set.

You might just be able to make out the Spica Pen shimmer on the jacket and shoes in this picture.

MIM #86 with Ladybug Crafts Ink

Hi there, happy Monday! 

Did you have a good weekend?

Now that the wet season is all but over here in the tropics we are all inspired to get out and about with our boys. We took them to try out little athletics on Sunday. They had an awesome time!

I didn't get any time for crafting over the weekend so it's a good thing I had my card for this week's

MIM #85 with Meljen's Designs

Welcome to my new followers!

Here it is, Monday again and the first day back at school for my boys. 

We had such a fun two weeks break.Went to the beach, swam in the pool and just kicked back. I have to be honest and say it wasn't just the boys who struggled to get back in the "going to school" routine this morning, lol.

I am excited though that a new Make It Monday linky party starts today.

Last week's link up was HUGE!

It is wonderful to be in the company of so many talented people, and you are such  friendly bunch too,:o). 

I gain so much inspiration from you all.

I love being able to feature the variety of cardmaking and scrapbooking styles that I see each week on the Pink Paper Paradise facebook page and I love those off the page projects too.

MIM #84 with Bugaboo Stamps

Happy Easter!

I hope that you have had a wonderful weekend.

The weather here has been just perfect. Bright blue skies and around 29°C (84°F ).

We are half way through our school holidays and it has been so much fun. 

We took to the boys to the beach on Saturday, so much fun! The only down side to the beach is that the sands seems to just keep showing up for days!

Luckily I was super organised and had my cards for the Make It Monday weekly linky party made ahead of time as crafting time has been pretty much non existent during the holidays.

I made this card a few weeks ago when I was at my friend Shannean's house for our usual Tuesday crafting get together. She helped me to create the ribbon rosette. I always learn something new when I visit, she is such an inspirational lady!

I started off the year well, sticking to my new year's resolution to post more regularly on my blog, but I seem to have slipped recently so I will have to work on that, lol.
